Two Players Added to United States Roster
University of Maryland recruit James Padgett (6-9, PF, Lincoln High School, Brooklyn, NY) is a late edition to the U.S. roster. He guided Lincoln High from the Coney Island section of Brooklyn to its unprecedented fourth consecutive New York Public School Athletic League Class AA championship at Madison Square Garden on March 21. Padgett also earned MVP honors at the Charm City Challenge this past Sunday after posting 22 points on 11 of 13 shooting.
American Unviersity bound Blake Jolivette (6-1, PG, St. Thomas High School, Houston, Texas) rounds out the U.S. All-Stars. Padgett and Jolivette replace Dalton Pepper and Jordan Williams, who were previously announced to the U.S. squad. |
